The Vault
Main story quest
With all three keys, open the Vault, an old prison of the mages, and take the sceptre Greyor made centuries before the orb.
The Vault's Door
The Vault’s entrance is west of the Westberg, behind a door with an impossible lock. It opens when you hold Isharia’s runestone to it.
The First Level
The hole down is in the north-east. Mage’s Might (1) lies in the north-west and 527 gold (2) in the east.
The Second Level
The hole down is east of where you arrive. Silent Leggings (1) lie in the east and a Magic Elixir (2) in the south-west.
The Sceptre
The three keys open the locked door (D) together, and the sceptre (S) lies beyond. Beside it is a pulsating blue orb (O), full of magic; take it too, as it has a use elsewhere.
A Dead Wand
Back at the hideout, Isharia admires the sceptre, but it has no charge; the mages took it from Greyor before he could charge it. Okyon explains that only saghure can hold such a charge, astral energy condensed into a stone. A piece was kept in a storehouse in the Floating City of the Abastral mages, and fragments of the ruined city still drift on the Astral Plane. Someone in the Hidden City may be able to get you there. Continue with Saghure.
The party's journal
The wand is dead. It will need to be charged. Maybe Okyon can tell us how to do it.
Greyor's sceptre will only work with a piece of saghure - astral energy condensed in a stone. The only known piece was in the Floating City before it was destroyed. We'll need to find a mage from the Hidden City who can help us find it.
