Weapons
Your weapon adds its strength to your attack power, so a better weapon means every hit lands harder. Strength counts for a lot too: your attack power is half your Strength plus your weapon’s strength. See Combat for the details.

The shops warn you if the weapon you’re buying is no better than the one you already carry, so you won’t waste gold by accident.
