Madigan has found her outside help, a Resistance against The Rein, and has sent for you.

Stefan

Outside the mine, Stefan says he was sent by Madigan, who has gone to the Resistance for help. Their hideout is under an abandoned hut south-west of Unschuld; look at the floorboards.

The Abandoned Hut

In the hut, the floor panels are loose. Lift them to find a ladder down to the hideout.

The Resistance Hideout

Madigan introduces Isharia, who leads the Resistance, and Okyon, who has been studying the crystals. Seven were made centuries ago, in the Hero’s time, and a book, The Seven Stars, records where every one of them is. The Rein surely has a copy. Another may survive in the library of the Universitat, the school of the Fastral mages, which the world believes was destroyed. A mage in Trost knows the way. The party's journal

A man named Stefan claimed to be sent by Madigan. He works for a group known as the Resistance. It's dangerous to trust him, but we've not much choice anymore. We are to find an abandoned hut southwest of Unschuld and check the floorboards.

We found the Resistance, Madigan, and to our surprise, Khan. They are a small assemblage of mages with limited resources who are trying to stop The Rein. Their goals coincide with ours and we will now work for them.

The Resistance has been very helpful in solving some of The Rein's motives. Before Dieb was captured, he was sent to find a copy of 'The Seven Stars'. It is a book about these mysterious crystals we've been collecting. The book is now in Nina's hands, so we must find another copy. The mages in the Resistance have informed us that the Fastral Universitat has survived the Catastrophe, and their library might hold a copy of the book. We must first find a mage in Trost who can tell us how to find the hidden Universitat.
