Sebastian's Deal
Main story quest
The Rein is headquartered in Unschuld, which it has sealed under martial law. Lord Sebastian, who works with The Rein, will write you a letter of passage for a price.
Meet Sebastian
Lord Sebastian gives you two ways to pay for his letter. Either one is enough.
Option 1: Stop the Poacher
Sebastian wants a poacher off his land for good. His captain, the man in armor, says the poacher was last seen to the north-west, but you can skip him and go straight there. Frye, the poacher, is hunting just north-west of Sebastian’s Keep. The Rein takes his crops without paying, and he refuses to stop. There is no fight; one of the party kills him with his own hunting knife.
Option 2: Pay the Advisor
Sebastian’s advisor, the man in the gray robes, asks for 2000 gold, no less, to be put in the chest beside him. Whichever way you pay, return to Sebastian for the letter, and continue with Inside Unschuld.
The party's journal
Unschuld is locked and under martial law. We'll never get to The Rein without help. Lord Sebastian seems an unscrupulous man from whom favors can be bought. He'll give us a writ of entrance if we either pay him 2000 gold or kill a poacher that has been troubling him.
We chose to stop the poacher. He is supposed to hunt northwest of the city.
We found the poacher and tried to convince him to leave. He wouldn't listen and so we killed him. We need to return to Sebastian for our writ. It better have been worth the trouble.
