The game was written for DOS. It works with DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95/98. It works without sound in Windows XP. It probably works with an emulator such as DosBox.

Authors Note: Be sure to read the manual for sound compatability. After unzipping, DO NOT run DarkAges.exe, instead run either DAStart.bat or NoSound.exe (see manual for details).

This is source code only. Don't bother downloading it if you don't program or don't have the full game already downloaded as well. The source code is for QuickBasic 4.5, but it might work under later versions as well.
